Mandate is to promote the opportunity for personal growth and empowerment by responding to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the individual in a holistic manner. Serving the marginalized population (adults) in St. John’s, the community navigator can assist in making medical appointments and other social/health services.
Coffee/Social Time is provided for those who come early for lunch. This time allows for connection with a mental health social worker. Friendship Corner provides a meal and socialization. Wellness drop in group offered. Spiritual guidance provided by onsite chaplain.
New Hope Clinic is a health care clinic developed in partnership with Eastern Health, providing medical services to individuals in the downtown core through a Nurse Practitioner. Chiropractic services are provided on Tuesdays and Fridays. Seasonal flu shot clinics also provided.
