At the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), our vision is a world where no one fears cancer. With the support of our volunteers and donors, we improve and save lives by taking a comprehensive approach to our work against more than 100 types of cancer. CCS funds research, provides services to those living with cancer, advocates on important cancer-related issues and educates and empowers people to make healthy choices.
The Canadian Cancer Society Newfoundland and Labrador Division offers adult support groups for people living with cancer in many communities across our province. Trained volunteers lead educational and informal discussions to help people who have cancer and their caregivers. The types of groups available in each area may vary.
The Online Community helps people with cancer and their loved ones share their experiences and build supportive relationships.
The Community Services Locator is a searchable database of over 4,000 cancer-related services and resources nationwide.
